Support for each other is one of the prime benefits of community. At St. James, the Pastoral Care Committee helps the rector provide support for parishioners and their families when there is emotional, physical, or spiritual need.

Members of the committee meet the first Thursday of each month at 9:15 AM, to write birthday and sympathy cards and regularly communicate with each other to assure visits, support, and food, when needed, to parishioners who are hospitalized or confined at home. Members also bring Sunday’s altar flowers to the sick and visit parishioners who need a little social contact to help them through difficult times.
